KEEPING GOING

Ira Glass: Advice for Beginners (Zen Pencils)

This quote really hit home for me. With my writing, I am still at the “making stuff that comes up short” phase. And I have always felt like that, in anything creative that I have ever done. I remember getting angry and sad and just crushed as a 9-year-old because the play I had envisioned in my head was not the play I had just put on with my younger siblings. And OH MY GOD WHAT’S THE POINT WHY EVEN TRY?

It’s time for that to stop. It’s time to embrace my mediocrity (for now). The best is yet to come. Stay tuned.

  1. Hello, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening
in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Other then that, amazing blog!
